Gyger先生、Eli Commins先生共同組織策劃，展覽聚焦七位臺灣藝術家及其獨具風格的創作，包括繪畫、錄影作品、巨型模型、機械動力裝置、手繪漫畫、多媒體裝置等。 展覽從接洽到籌備，正好歷經了全球局勢變化的風暴高峰期，策展團隊提出展題「暴風之眼」回應了這三年以來全世界受到疫情及政治風暴影響，對於生活的新日常有了切身且全新的體悟；而風暴中心指的也正是臺灣從古至今極具挑戰性的地理位置和現實狀態。尤其此刻當下的臺灣，在強力氣旋圍繞下同時有著平靜和躁動共存的特殊性，反映出這座島嶼面對極端衝擊所展現出的奇妙平衡。處於全球高度敏感的權力風暴核心，臺灣在危機四伏環境下所保持的積極態度，打開了一種充滿挑戰性的藝術視野，多元且開放地對於自我的文化歷史進行解構和再創造，同時正面迎對充滿不確定性的未來。 「暴風之眼」聚焦的這七位臺灣藝術家，出生於戰後的臺灣，他們歷經臺灣戒嚴後的民主自由時代，具有專業藝術養成也積極參與國際藝術活動，同時見證了這些年來國際情勢的劇烈轉變。這次展出的創作作品包括由國立臺灣美術館收藏的巨幅畫作--姚瑞中2015年創作的〈腦殘遊記--臨趙伯駒「江山秋色圖」〉，在挑戰經典的山水畫傳統中融入他多年來針對臺灣荒謬歷史與政治現狀所做的十件行為藝術代表作品；袁廣鳴透過〈棲居如詩〉、〈日常演練〉兩件參展作品，以冷靜而詩意的凝視，直視生活日常中的隱形暴力和不安。王連晟〈閱讀計畫〉是一組充滿視覺與動態趣味的機械裝置作品，這個機械組裝的互動裝置雖指涉儒家教育對亞洲學子的影響，但也反思未來充滿挑戰性的科技演化與人工智慧發展；藝術家張立人和黃海欣看似輕鬆詼諧的創作，則反映出新世代對於日常事務雖輕盈但仍深具社會議題獨特詮釋的藝術態度。展覽內容亦有旅英藝術家王郁媜在自我身分及歷史議題上不斷探索表現形式和語言的多重可能，她豐富且極具自由想像的作品〈未曾來過〉，融合了繪畫、聲音、影像和迷人的空間裝置，營造出虛實多重交疊充滿跨界想像的未至之所；蘇匯宇〈未來的衝擊〉透過影像探訪臺灣過去所經歷的未來—摩登的城市願景、美好的生活想像，這些未來的殘破景象和未完成之處，卻也令我們深思如今正在經歷以及即將正面迎對的未來衝擊。 臺灣是一座充滿歷史與未來張力的高科技島嶼，夾雜在極端的平衡裡，衝突和憂慮不安的處境，卻也誕生出深具生活感、哲學省思和美學張力的精彩藝術樣貌，本展赴法展出，希望透過獨具一格的「暴風之眼」，帶給法國南特及歐洲各地的觀眾耳目一新的文化饗宴。 Continue -

FIERY INK・YUAN HUI-LI SOLO EXHIBITION 5 Oct - 2 Nov 2022 展覽地點｜靜宜大學藝術中心 展覽日期｜2022.10.5-11.02 參觀時間｜週一至週五 09 :00-8 : 00 展覽介紹 地球暖化導致氣候變異，乾旱、野火焚山、空汙、沙塵暴等景觀，成為地球各國常見生態災難。古來山水畫向以表現「可居可遊」的理想山川為追求，然而，當代真實世界已發生了變異，山林也難逃全球空汙、災變的影響，藝術家袁慧莉不想依舊躲藏在那自以為仍然理想的桃花源幻想中，她希望直面氣候變遷帶來的日常感知，這是創作者面對何謂「真」山水議題時的當代觀點。 《火墨》象徵空汙、燥熱、乾旱的地球氣候，以不用水的宣紙炭灰對臨古畫，隱喻古今氣候變遷現象，或以自創圖像表現日常所見所感的空汙景象。《火墨》相對於「水墨」，從還原墨之物性，去對應於關於呼吸、空氣的墨性，顛覆古典水墨山水畫以「潤墨」為主的傳統美學，以《火墨》的「燥墨」符應當代新的環境議題。 袁慧莉此次於靜宜大學的「火墨：霾日常」個展，將帶來《火墨》觀點較為完整的展出。包含從2015年至2022年創作的《火墨》作品，其中有首次在台灣曝光的2015年第一件《火墨》作品相關文件資料；以及2021年以日常景象為內容的《火墨》新作。為使觀念完整呈現，也將展出2017年至今，幾件以臨摹古畫進行古今墨性對辯的裝置或平面作品；同時也將播放新版的「火墨」紀錄片與出版專冊，祈使觀者能更全面地理解《火墨》創作想法。 Continue

Wu Tien chang 9 May - 22 Nov 2015 展期 ｜2015 年 5 月 9 日至 11 月 22 日 地點｜ 義大利威尼斯 普里奇歐尼宮邸 本屆台灣館著眼於展場普里奇歐尼宮作為監獄之本質，推出藝術家吳天章，以「Never Say Goodbye」為註腳，訴說盤旋在每個人心中難以揮別的過往記憶與往日情懷，如同流連在監獄中的鬼魅，因執戀人世間的愛恨情仇，不肯離去。 吳天章利用彷若面具的人工表層皮膜、誇張妖異的意象及魔幻的視覺表現，演繹臺灣底層文化生活及人世間的悲歡離合，並以聲光俱佳的表演方式召喚戰後臺灣西化過程中獨特的時代氛圍與特殊情懷；他以充滿感官魅惑的皮膜及華麗炫目的魔術作為載體，剎那間捕捉觀者之目光，但在洋溢著飽滿繽紛歡愉的色彩背後，作品中的邊緣性人物及鬼魅的調性，實則暗喻人間不忍卒睹的醜陋現實及死亡氣味，以及那些如鬼魂般不斷迴返、揮之不去的創傷經驗。 被皮膜包覆的作品人物，外表看不出喜怒哀樂，然而單一的外表下隱藏的卻是充滿著故事、充滿著各種愛恨情仇的執著與眷戀。他運用充滿感官魅惑的皮膜，除了表達形式上的快感與誘惑外，亦有種以此對抗人類身體終將腐敗消逝之特性的意味，意欲著將美好時刻凝結於當下的渴望，呼應了其作品中那種無法與過去揮別的留戀與不捨，不想說再見，也無法說再見。 Continue
